Frosty Mourning

It's 28 degrees. Went out back when I got home from work to check things out...

My cherry tree hasn't flowered yet, only just started to leaf a few days ago so that should be OK (for now) and that was my biggest concern.

But the tulips weren't so lucky. Looks like an elephant sat on them :rofl:

It was 32 degrees this morning in Louisville. The Easter Lillies, dogwoods and jonquils don't appear phased.

We call it the "Easter Snap" a final drop in temps before Spring temps settle in for the season.
