In HS my best friend went to Kalifornia to be with his Psychiatrist father and go to college, broke up with some gal, and blew his brains out, I remember standing on the upper landing of a Jr. College building, and ran into Al, who told me of Rich's suicide and why I had not heard from Rich in a while....

I about shit and cried at the same time, I had thoughts of going out there to school, just for a change....never happened after that.....

I was also thinking of taking a psych elective but took sociology instead, another totally useless course....(waste of money)....but upon hearing about Rich and knowing his father was in that field and couln't help his own kid, I lost any respect for that field in that instant....
