I'm not really into watches, but I like the looks of that one. I don't like big clunky watches that look like you've got a Holley carburetor strapped to your wrist.

Actually, I find most Rolexes to be like that. I like a thin, simple lightweight watch that tells me the time and date. To each his own, though. :seasix:

Rolex doesn't really make a huge watch in today's standards. I tried on a Rolex a few days ago that I believe was a 42mm case that seemed normal size. By no means large.
I've been looking at getting a watch and want a 44+mm. My buddy has a Brietling that's 48mm.

I don't like it, but then again, I don't like most Rolex watches. I prefer the Omega's.

Would need to see this in person.
Too busy, almost effete.
Diggin' the black-faced Sub, though.

I always liked the YachtMaster but with a white dial instead of blue.

Not my style.
The only Rolex I really like is the SS Submariner.
This is the latest one I'm drooling over...

I stick with my 15 buck CASIO digital on a 20 buck Spidel band.....why? cause I don't have to worry over it when I go to do anything....cars, houses, whatever....:seasix::hurray:
I sold a gold Omega Seamaster for scrap gold long about '80 or so....
POS ran good maybe one year and took more in repairs than it did for purchase....
cured ME on expensive watches....

The only Rolex I really like is the SS Submariner.
And the GMT Master II Pepsi, and the Explorer II Polar. Mainly because that's what I have. :D. Wouldn't mind a SS Daytona some day.
My Sub is a non date, non COSC. Nice and clean.

I like it, but I prefer a bit more of a contrasting face... ie see the black or blue faced Submariner

In my case it was given to me due to winning the MVP at my old company. The boss even had my initials and birthday engraved on the back. I've worn it every day for 15 years.

:iagree: It's not so much I dislike Rolex, but the "is it REAL?" questions are tiresome.
I still own my 1st one though. 5513

New Explorer II?
Nope, it wasn't that one. It was a friends watch that he let me try on. Based on pictures, it looked like the Submariner, but that's only a 40mm case. I bet my buddy just had his numbers off.
I actually like his 48mm Brietling Super Avenger better than the Rolex.

I think 95% of people have no clue/don't care about watch brands. Until I saw a friends nice watch and started reading about them online, I never really paid attention. I knew "Rolex", but never heard of Brietling, Omega, Tag, etc...
That being said, people notice a nice watch.
