yeah a really frightening thought isn't it?:D After Larry's post about the Harvard study I started to think about times people were upset with me. So, my question is are you one of the people that actually don't really tell someone what you want to and instead just either sulk, give hints or are cryptic?
Discuss. :waiting:

No, I'm not a woman.

No. I am honest to a fault.
Another reason why I am probably never to marry!

For some reason, I sometimes get a good feeling out of being pissed at someone and not have them know it. It's just another level of knowing something they don't.

Pfft this has nothing to do with being male or female. I've been around enough people to realize gender does not play a factor in how someone acts when they are upset about something.

I'm a very easy going guy. But, I find that if I stand really close to someone, become redfaced and rather wild-eyed, and tell them very slowly, "You are beginning to piss me off" they will often come around to my way of thinking.
I try to use this power for good and not evil.

I tried standing close to the person I was pissed at once but I couldn't get over wanting to strangle them so I thought it best to stay a few feet away.:leaving:

I absolutely HATE when someone sulks. Just come out with it. WTF? Stop playing games. I'm not a f*cking mind reader. Also, if you're not going to tell me wtf is wrong, don't think that walking around pissed is acceptable. Either tell me, or don't.
I'm very specific and concise when something is bothering me. And after we talk about it and resolve it, it's over. Done. Move on.
Trust me guys, some of you are worse than women when it comes to this BS.

If there is a fundamental difference between the male and female psyche it is how how they deal with being pissed off.
Women will clam up, sulk, expect you to read minds, deflect, or even deny being mad.
A guy will say - Yo, dumbass, you're pissing me off.
When I'm honest I usually end up offending someone, so I was advised to not post if there's a chance of that happening. :D

I want to hang around the people you hang around because the people I know do a combination of everything.

I refuse to walk around on eggshells with people. If someone gets their panties in a wad and doesn't want to tell me why, that is their problem.
Im the one that gets hints / cryptic jiberish, BS and has to beat the truth out of them or I just don't care.

Same here. But, I'll bet that isn't the way most relationships work. I think in most cases it's the stereotypical routine of the wife being mad but makes the husband guess what's wrong. She says, "I don't want to talk about it", but she does want to talk about it; she just wants the husband to guess what the problem is ["He should know, after all."]

Situation doesn't arrise because I want nothing from others. I find it amusing when wimmen get mad. This tends to aggravate the situation and it becomes a viscious viscious circle... But they eventually give up before I die laughing.

I enjoy dark rum, on a few ice cubes in a short whiskey glass.
Sometimes with a jaunty lime.

I just cannot...take...the...bullshit. It kills me.
The worst is the one word answers to questions, which clearly indicates that they're pissed. Did something just happen here? Because I have no idea what's going on. Ok...something is obviously wrong. What exactly is the problem?
I look at it this way, they're either going to come out with it...or they're not. If they're not, I'm going on with my day. But they had better not get upset that I'm not under their feet trying to "get it out" of them. I've got more important things to do with my time then play a guessing game or walk on eggshells. When they're ready to tell me, like a normal adult, I'm sure they'll let me know. :D
I think growing up in a neighborhood full of boys (and, in turn, being a tomboy most of my life) has made me think more like a man when it comes to things like this. :leaving:
