My in-laws will get my 1, if they can use it. Not sure. It's wifi only and they have dial-up only. I don't know if it will be of any use to them.

Unless there's something compelling, I'll stick with my iP2. Right now, it appears the biggest change is going to be the display. Nice, but not enough to drive me to upgrade.

I skipped the iPad 2 because it wasn't enough of an upgrade from the first gen.

I'm ready for the next one, but I can definitely see sticking with a 2. :yesnod:

Be aware that Wyse crippled the latest free version of the app - it only supports the *one* PC -- the first on the connections list, so make certain you only load the Companion application on the unit you want to 'drive'.

Flash is toast. Adobe has said so.

But HTML5 will cover most all of the elements you could do with Flash. There are animation programs available now to cover that and all of the other crap you could program with Flash can now be handled with Java in most all iPad browsers

Why bother with Flash? Adobe is killing flash for mobile platforms anyway. It's a dead-end technology.
