....thanks to some Percocet. I've been battling another kidney stone for the past few days. Doc gave me some drugs to help with the pain so I'm feeling pretty good right now. Sure hope this baby passes soon.

Since I started taking vitamin B6 and Mg with chelated zinc, and drinking around 70-80 oz of water a day, I haven't had another one.

Got the emergency narcotics locked in the safe just in case, though.

How long is a prescription for a controlled substance good for? Even if you keep the stuff in the original container, if, for example, the dope is 5 years old, is the prescription still valid? If not, is it still legal for the patient to be in posession of it?

If it is still legal to posess, what would prevent someone from keeping their old script and prescription bottle, then buying fresh stuff to keep in it off the street?

"Look here, officer, I was prescribed this stuff 5 years ago and it is still in the original bottle."
