I'm not exactly an aspiring photographer, but as the saying goes...Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. :D


This guy was perched at end of the pier in Venice Beach, CA. Waiting for the people fishing from the pier to catch him some lunch.
People walking close by didn't seem to bother him, but he became a little agitated when the camera was pointed at him, and started flapping his wings for the 2nd pic.

Shot with a Canon point 'n shoot. I left them full-size, unedited and straight off the camera because I felt the detail is quite good. Hope these are worthy. :)

Nice ! Personally, I like #1 a little better.

Goes back to the old saying "The best camera is the one you have with you".
Be it a p/s, cam phone, etc...you just never know when something will pop up like that.
