It's from some company called "Healthcare Alliance" and it came bulk-rate mail (i.e. junk mail).
It seems scammish but I googled around and can't figure out what the scam actually is-- just a bunch of other people wondering the same thing.
Here's what I think: they enter the "member ID" on the card into the computer, and then when you buy your drugs, they send the info regarding the drugs to Healthcare Alliance-- so H.A. now has your info and a record of the drugs you bought.
They will probably do evil things with that information. It's a good thing I don't use my real name when I refill all my narcotic prescriptions.
