Like Tito said in the video come trade deadline time there will be alot more activity as more teams will be in the hunt. Should make for better September baseball.

I don't really care for it -- or wildcards in particular.

If the Sox and the Braves had made the playoffs last year it wouldn't have made for nearly as interesting a September. Francona might still be in Boston...

So now you have to win the All Star Game to have home field, then win out over 4 other teams instead of 3.

Does anybody even care anymore who wins the pennant? It's just one more round of 60 playoff games. Getting to be as bad a hockey.

:iagree:Its all about greed for more money. I stopped watching baseball in the 90's during their strike. They should just do away with all this wild card crap and only have the teams that won the division.
