Where you feel like you just aren't firing on all eight cylinders? You may experience issues in conversation where you can't get words out, or you have what I call "stone hands" where you seem to bobble and drop everything you try to hold, or just a day where you just feel like it would have been more productive in the bed?

Man, did I ever have one today. No warning, no real reason to be "off", but had trouble pronouncing words, and dropped my pen 5-6 times today while at work. Decided I'd run hit the mountain bike trails after work to see if I could decompress. No dice. Had a good energy burst for about 20mins into the ride, and then flop. Like a truck had just hit me. Lost my ooomph, decided to pack it in and head home.

Sure hope playing poker in a bit doesn't follow suit...

Yes, and I'm happy when those WTF kind of a day finally gets over!

But myself and others wouldn't mind if your day continued into the poker game :D

We can compare notes Brad. I'll see your WTF day and raise a WTF weekend.

Is this your first hangover?

Yes, I rarely but occasionally have those days. That's one of the reasons I became self employed.

Some days, you just don't feel like working. Try explaining that to an employer.

Ha...Wish it were a hangover...then I'd know what to blame it on!

I am a volunteer sworn deputy Sheriff. I work when I want to. Sometimes I get called to full-time status for short durations.

The rest of the time I am a self-employed rental property manager.

Your properties Sea? Just curious..

I manage four houses that are mine. 20+ years worth of mortgages still remain on each one :funny:

The rest are owned by other people. I'm just the manager. :seasix:

I get like that when I don't eat right. The blood-sugar is off and I can feel it. I have to force myself to eat something or else I'll end up napping on the couch and feeling even worse when I get up. :willy:

I had that day yesterday.
Today I started extra early and got myself re-organized and a to-do list to keep my brain in check.
7am I was on the phone to the assholes I was dealing with yesterday to express my displeasure in their shipping charges.
This morning I received a phone call from the VP apologizing and removing all shipping charges and adding a $200 credit to my account for the troubles.

So far so good.
