I bought one of those carpeted trunk liner things for the Z's trunk lid last summer. It held up pretty well but as it got warm it fell of. So I reattached it with some "Automotive " double sided tape. :toetap:

Well, it fell off again today. :toetap:

Short of screwing it on or gluing it with Super Glue (which BTW, I'm not convinced would hold it), what can I do?

If you plan on leaving it there then I suggest 3M spray headliner adhesive 82-06RV. They have some other spray adhesives that work awesome too.

At least you have a choice, the original owner of my car SCREWED the liner onto my trunk lid.

Clear Silicone should do the trick. Won't hold as well as an industial stapler, but a little less noticable.

If you are truly that upset with the whole trunk lid, lid liner situation, you could always just give the car to me. :seeya:
