I still on the road and stopped in santa maria for the night. Tomorrow I will finish this road trip/bomber run scouting with a new route I found.

Ive driven all over, PCH north, santa cruz and back south. I found a great twisty road, took me to the pacific and it was a dead end. I had to drive back and laughed at myself. I let the love, lust and attraction to twisty roads get to me and got bit in the ass.lol

Guys, this run is going to rock and it may be a multiple day expedition.

Say hello to everybody. Its a bitch to post using this but, i can read them all. The CF has a mobil forum so loads faster and without graphics.

Going to overnight with a buddy in PHX, and the following day will drive into Santa Barbara (or wherever we launch from). Got the dates cleared on the calendar, Marco will be ready, time to burn up some pavement. :drivingskid:

Cruise is tentatively April 14th. I'm looking at heading out on the 12th, staying a night in Phoenix to see an old buddy, and then heading in to SoCal on the 13th. Overnight in Santa Barbara on the 13th, up bright and early for the Bomber Run on Sat the 14th.

Subject to Change if Pete needs to, but I've already requested the days off. You could come in to El Paso on the 11th...and we could head out the following AM. :seasix:

I took several days off work, so can take the scenic route home. Mrs. Friz can't get any time off, so I'm flying solo.

No, Marco is way nicer and that dude was a hippie. He had a long ass white beard, it was a shame I already put the camera away otherwise I would had snapped a picture of him.

Hey Larry, I found the elephant seals by pure coincidence. Those things are huge.

About "The Evil Road" I was thinking and we can do it with no problem if we do it down-hill or backwards. I think I would be the only one with traction problems anyway.

Well, since Friz is going to be there I am sure he can bring a JATO for your spare tire delete. :dance: Seriously, the cars coming down hill are supposed to back up for the cars coming uphill. That and there will be more cars in our group as well as those coming the other way, would be a consideration. Whatever you think is best. I did like the tree by the road :lol:
