NYC community board OKs ground zero mosque plans

That's right the vote was 29-to-1 in favor of the plan, with 10 abstentions. How about them apples a Mosque at Ground Zero. Is that a slap in the face to the families of those that lost loved ones that day. What hapened to the "Never Forget 911". I cannot believe that it was even up for a vote. Well in another 10 years it won't matter much as the Muslim poplation in this country is one of the fastest growing, so in the not to distant future they will control one of the largest voting blocks out there. They won't need to attack us, as they will have a lot of control by then.

I don't get your point. McVeigh was mad at the government, and besides wasn't St. Joseph's already at that location. I realize he killed a lot on innocent people including children, but his intent was to go after the government.

We are talking about a new Mosque located at ground zero. The attack on the World Trade Center was an attack against all of America and what we stand for.

good point. we don't actually know that the financing for this mosque is from radical Islamic sources. NYC Mayor Bloomberg is a big proponent of this mosque. He realizes that the American public is stupid; memories and attention span are as short and vapid as the nxt American Idol finalist or Oprah show.

I believe putting a mosque there is symbolically raping the sacred site.
