Someone sent me the links to these photos and video of a really cool looking VW today.

Just happens I saw this car before paint a few years ago..

The before photo is waaaay cool.

Doesn't the high end pro paint job kind of defeat the rat-rod style?

Everyone has their own taste I guess..

I agree, the no paint would have been cool with just a clear coat.

And I would have wanted some wide ass tires to glue it to the pavement. :seasix:

doesn't need wide tires with its low center of gravity. maybe the front if anything for the push. i had one of those '70s VW trikes a few years back and it would corner like it was on rails at speed, taking off on a left or right turn was a whole different story. those look like like they have a bit more front end weight though... :seasix:

He also did a monster truck and a restomod on an old F150 that was his dad's. Converted it to 4wd.
