Ok here, I am texting wife to make sure her and the kids are ok, she is in Cebu City right now for prenatal exam.
I felt it shake the whole house here, was a weird feeling because at first I didn't know what was going on, and just thought I was just dizzy.
I'm going to have to brace the house better, the whole thing was swaying

Wife and kids are fine, Thanks for thinking of us Heather. :cert:
I read there could be but no warnings of Tsunami here.
But I did look out the window to be sure when the house was shaking
I was going down to the city to meet up with the wife and kids today BUT!
All boats are canceled for the rest of the day... :slap:
Since I am going to stay till the new baby boy comes sometime later this month, I had my computer all packed and stuff for the trip.
Too hard to carry it all on my motorcycle so had a buddy with a tricycle take me to the pier.
He dropped me off as a boat was leaving, turns out it was the last one for the day, since they are canceled that one left early since they were already loaded.
Anyways.. I had to find a new ride home...
Johnny, did you feel it up there where you are?

Do some engineering work on that first, sometimes the more limber structures are better able to cope, say as opposed to cinder block like my house....
I certainly dunno the answers, but just commenting....
Take care man....:seasix:

I did think about that later, Bamboo is pretty flexible, where concrete might just crack during movement.

Having lived 10 miles from the Loma Prieta quake in '89 (7.0) I can testify to how long 30 seconds can be.

What was the message?
If the bottle was full it would have been sniffed out and found by now :D
