Emboldened by reaching the Mt Everest base camp last year,my bride,the adventuress, will attempt to reach the summit of Kilimanjaro in a couple weeks.
I know forum members have done crazy things so I was wondering,anyone done this ?Any advice....?:)

Yes,base camp on Everest is about 17500 ft.....The summit of Kilimonjaro is 19300 ft..........:)

I made it up Pike's Peak...14,110 feet. In a car. :leaving: :D

Did it both on foot (hiked) and a mtn bike (raced up).
Ask her if she sees a dead leopard carcass near the summit.

Best wishes for a safe, fun climb for her. Be sure to post the pics when you get them. I enjoyed last years pics.

No one has explained what the leopard was seeking at that altitude.

Climbed Mt Washington as a kid a couple of times, not very high, but above tree line
