Got a speeding ticket in Center Point, Alabama yesterday.

I don't know the details but I do smell an obnoxious odor.

Times are hard for Jefferson County Alabama but Damn!

While it may be something for her to brag about at the church supper....I don't feel comfortable having 93 year old reflexes operating a vehicle at speed or above on any road at any time.

My sister and I had to take the keys from both of our parents when it became clear that they were a danger to themselves and others.

Must have been a proud moment for the Center Point Police Department, nabbing such a vicious felon like grandma.

My Mom's a couple decades younger than that, and got a speeding ticket a few years back in a school zone. Mom's a retired teacher and knows exactly when the kids are in class. Supposedly the stop was made 3 minutes before the school zone ende, and of course, not a kid in sight (duh, they had all been in class for 45 minutes at that point).

I told her to take it to jury trial (as I take all mine). They took one look at her the day she showed up for trial and dismissed the case on the spot. It isn't going to look to good to a jury to treat Grandma Moses like Ma Barker if you are the prosecutor.
