Heather Locklear & Jack Wagner Facing Battery Charges After Big Fight
Breaking up is hard to do, especially when the court system gets involved. Former couple Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner, who broke off their engagement in November, may both be facing criminal battery charges following a heated argument in December.
LAPD officials tell TMZ that the police were called to Wagner's San Fernando Valley Home after a fight between Heather, 50, and Jack, 52, allegedly turned violent.
"She lost it on him and he retaliated," says one law enforcement source of the physical altercation.
Neither Locklear nor Wagner wanted to press charges, but the police file was sent forward to the city attorney, who has ordered both of them to attend an upcoming office hearing. At that hearing, the city attorney will hear both sides and decide whether to file charges against one or both parties -- or to drop the matter entirely. (That seems the most likely course of action, since the former Melrose Place costars appear eager to leave this incident behind them.) The hearing will reportedly take place before the end of the month.
Locklear is having a tough time of things lately. Just last week, she was rushed to the hospital after allegedly taking a dangerous combination of prescription drugs and alcohol. TMZ and People have reported that she may be soon be headed into a rehab program.
