Still undecided about the grill on the new Fusion. Maybe if they put the Ford logo in the middle of it to break it up I'd stop thinking "Catfish" every time I see it.

I really like the fact they're getting away from the cookie cutter COT, and back to more "stock" looking cars.

I say to hell with making it affordable for the start and park guys and legislating the rules so that we have stupid close artificial .000475 margins of victory.

Turn 'em loose - give the teams a body spec, not a common body and then see what they bring to the track. Give the cars back their personality. Tech the cars fully wet with driver in - ready to race.

Nascar should provide a sealed ECM box that meters so much fuel and specific spark but let the motor builders go nuts from there. If you want to put that on a V-10, cool. If you want to put that on a turbo 6 that's OK too.

Lets' put some creativity back in the sport. I wanna see somebody win by three laps and a manufacturer dominate the sport.

What?! Go back to Stock Car racing? Like what the SC in NASCAR stands for? Blasphemy!

I disagree there, that makes it lame.

That would bring us back to it being over 15 races before the season ends. Why even watch when someone has a dominant lead?

I agree they need more flexibility though.

They have a 2 door fusion???? I think they should be made to run stock bodies with aerodynamic packages. Until I can tell which car is which, I don't have much interest in it. They basically lost me years ago.

Always loved the black over silver cars. I have the diecast of the "Protest car" that Kyle Petty drove, painted to look like Sr's. Sabates did add one personal touch:
"Sabates, a Cuban refugee who became a millionaire businessman, also ordered one more change - perhaps another message to NASCAR.
Painted in Spanish on both doors in small white print was this phrase:
"All is fair in Love and War."
The real car, with Sr's in the background.
