View Full Version : '99 Suburban Seatbelt Problem
How do you get the seatbelt unstuck so you can use it? Mine got stuck in the roller at the bottom. Not sure how to get the cover off either. All I saw was a big star bolt under a cap. Pulling and wiggling didn't produce any progress.
Hopefully since this isn't an auto parts store you won't need to know what engine, if it has a/c, if it's a 4x4...:lol:

See if something fell into the mechanism. Did the belt twist as it recoiled back in? ( if it did, good luck, I spent hours on my '90 suburban getting to work )

It might have twisted. Seems like it doesn't come out the correct way to not be twisted when clicked.

Maybe you can get the cover up far enough to get at the latch to pull it out so the belt will extend.
You could always get another one at a yard :seasix:
