View Full Version : Still no N2O talk in here?
I know someone on here must be spraying their car... If so tell me about your set up. Dry, wet, Nano, etc...
Oh yeah, if you do spray, can I have a ride?

I want some on my busa :leaving:
remote bottle opener switch has been "hit or miss" for a couple of months now. in the open position it worked fine every time, but when I went to close it I had to hit it till my damn finger got sore. :skep: today I tried some "starter & generator" cleaner that I had left over from using to clean the wheel sensors when I was getting codes. that did the trick. even though I used a rag I got some on the plastic :confused5: it looks kind of "chalky" now. oh well, at least I didn't have to replace it.
Glad you got it fixed. Lucky break.
How does the opener work exactly? Do you just hit the switch and the opener runs until the bottle is open or closed or do you have to hold the switch the whole time? If you have to hold the switch how do you know when it's open/closed?

you can hear a change in pitch in the motor when the bottle opens or closes. once it closes I purge the N2O in the line to keep pressure off the solenoids.
Spray? What is this spray you speak of? :D
just refilled my bottle today. 8 lbs. for $36. :skep: has this **** gone up? what do ya'll pay? I went to two different shops that were out & finally found it at an "off road" truck place. :confused5: last time I bought it, it was $2.50- $3.00 lb.
$6.90 a lb. here. $73.00 to fill a 10 lb bottle! :toetap:

:willy:
used to be the shops used refills more as a "service." they figure to get you in there to buy N20 & you'll buy something else from them. times are tough. now they have to make $$ where they can.
