How or can I unlock all the folders on my computer.
When I try to open some folders it tells me access denied.
I am the only user and the administrator so shouldn't I be able to access anything I want.

On each affected folder, if you "right-click" "Properties" -> "Security" tab -> "Advanced" button, you'll find a "Deny" rule that prevents everyone from browsing. Remove that one Deny rule, and you can browse.
I first ran into that on the "Local Settings" and "Send To" folders, and already fixed those two on mine. There are others I haven't bothered with, I've just not had reason to mess with those others yet.
