Beautiful shots. Was that Slater in the first sequence? Funny that the waiting period is supposed to be there for the swell to increase. I'm guessing the contest was being held up for too much size.

Interesting that the guys were on such small boards for such a large swell, and that they were getting outrun by the waves. Maybe just not enough face to fit one in. Do longer tow-in boards exist?

Would love to visit Tahiti sometime, but not for this.
