View Full Version : Chocolate Banana Protein Bars

Keep in mind.....if you are a health nut, you will consider this sweet enough, and decent flavor. If you are used to Snickers Bars, you might not like it. :D

2 1/2 C Quaker Rolled Oats
1 tsp cinnamon
1 scoop (70cc scoop) or 4 tbsp Chocolate Whey Protein Powder
2 Tbsps Almond Butter or Smooth PB
3 egg whites
2 medium bananas
1 Tbsp Honey or Agave
1/4 C Skim Milk


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
I use food processor with a blade. It turns the rolled oats into flour.
Mix the oats, whey protein powder and cinnamon.
Add the almond butter and mix thoroughly.
Add the egg whites, mashed bananas and honey.
Mix well and slowly add the skim milk.
Once mixed spoon or pour into a greased or parchment lined 9 x 9" cake pan.
Smooth with a knife.
Bake for 15 or 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cut into 8 bars when cooled.
