She was told by the daughter of a patient she was helping, that she better learn Spanish if she wants to work in Miami.

My niece is now in Denver. Happily only speaking English.

Try california. The only place I've had speaking English to people in FL is Miami (which happened today while working on a Miami PD helicopter), and it's 75 mile radius. Other that that, if you have trouble with someone speaking english, they are not very high on the totem pole.
