Honestly, that movie gave me goosebumps, if it wasn't for their size, those kids could give Canada's CFL teams a run for the money even though there's a bunch of Americans playing up here. I remember playing football in H.S, we'd be lucky if we got 100 people in the stands........during a FINAL, you guys could practically fill a stadium. I love how seriously sports are taken down south, every aspect of American life is a competition, that's the drive that makes you want to be the best at everything, that's one of the things I really do admire about the United States.
Side note: We Are Marshall is on right now, same channel, Peach Tree TV, Atlanta. :seasix:

I give credit where credit is due, there's a whole bunch of things I love about the USA, your history is fascinating, your military is incredible, I love Small Town America, home coming dances, white picket fences, the car culture, the variety of people, the list goes on and on......the racism I could do without, same with the crime, but seriously, you take that out of the equation and the US is one hell of a country. Canada, as proud as I am to be a Canadian, we're boring as shit, maybe that's a good thing, we don't get into trouble, nobody really hates us (probably because they don't know we exist), we just go about our business and when you need us we're there.
Now about your comment, life's too short to be a shit disturber all the time, I like confrontation but sometimes I just like to lay low. :cert:

I've traveled on business a decent amount over the years - I've spent considerable time in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto. I love Canada - its cool. I've been to the top of the CN Tower and had High Tea at the Royal York. I've had fish and chips in Victoria and breakfasted on the BC Ferry. I saw the Leafs play at the Garden and tried to speak French to a cabbie in Montreal. Canada is anything but boring. I hope to get to Lake Louise and I always wanted to ski Banff and as drugstore cowboy, I'd like to see the Stampede in Calgary someday. All across Canada, I've never been treated poorly and have never met a Canadian who wasn't deservedly proud of their country.
Its the cleanest country in the world. I was working with some TV guys who were shooting in Toronto - they had dressed an alleyway to look like an rough urban street in the US. The next morning someone had come in and cleaned the graffiti off the walls and straightened the whole set up, Cost them thousands to redo it all correctly for the next day's shoot.

All I know about strip bars is, the last time I was at one, it was in Saint John, NB. The private lap dance was very close and personal and in my face, if you know what I mean. Nothing at any US clubs came close.
