So, for all you participants (and suggestions from non-participants), what kind of activities are you liking for Barn Raising II at Bowling Green? I need to get back to the NCM because registration is going live soon.

Hanging out at the beer truck and walking thru White Castle do not count as activities. Those are considered lifestyles.

Think Cruise-In's past. What did you like? What didn't you like?

Been there 3 or 4 times, including staying in one of their cabins in the park. Cool place..but I've done the standard tour several times...perhaps there's a different section we could arrange a more private tour of, now that would be cool.

My understanding is there's some lower levels with water that used to be a boat tour..not sure if they give tours of those areas still or not.

What bout the Indy 500 still?Still very interested, and we should probably find out (poll) who would commit to attending so we can get some tickets purchased, and plan hotel/group transportation options from there for those interested in those options as well.

Indy site shows lots of availability (in blocks up to 20 tix), but large seat blocks are harder to find and prices double from the major ticket outlets.

Anyone interested in a "Wounded Warrior" event? Shrike 6 and I participated at last year's CI where 50 'Vettes went to Ft Campbell and 30+ went to Ft Knox to pick up a soldier and escort him/her back to the museum and factory tour. It was a spirited run in that the cops escorting us maintained about an 80 mph average and, as the convoy stretched out and caught up, several of us in the middle and end of the pack were doing triple digits to maintain contact.

Also, I'd like to see the "Great Steak-Off" return. Watching Datawhiz pound down a monster (32-ounce?) filet was entertaining.

We were simply headed to The Homestead for a little dinner, two cars behind some guy named Gary  when things got a bit out of control in a corner.....

Yeah, I remember that. Gave him lots of crap for that too... :funny:

Limo to a strip club. :leaving:

I'll probably be bringing my limo.

Are you kidding...I think we should have a VetteBarn Softball game

I love softball.

I like the ideas of the gun range, Indy 500, poker, etc.

Is there a good charity ride, poker run, etc? Wounded Warrior?

Maybe one of us could rent a place at Mammoth Cave and we could cruise down there, do a tour, bbq a pig and then head back to bg.

Oh My God We're All Going To Get Killed On Road Tour or something to that effect that Adam Boca Set up. I've got a big group picture from the parking lot before we left somewhere.

Wasn't the drive it like you stole it a later year?..JackDaroofer spinning out, wasn't there some geese in the road or something that helped with that?

That's it. Someone (I think it was the really short guy in a blue S/C vert) hit a turkey and it shit all over the windshield.

Not gonna be able to make it either. Memorial Day is a hard weekend to get away.
