No surprise there.
I was hoping she would, but last night she kept saying she would keep pushing on. I was beginning to worry she may indeed have a real diagnosable mental disorder.

More so, they didn't do their homework and failed to realize making a statement / answering a question to that effect would not help their campaign.

Seriously, why do people say she's crazy, a nut, etc.?
That is bullshit. The media labeled her (like they labeled Palin as an idiot) because she is a conservative woman.
She's far more accomplished than anyone on this forum. (unless one of you is a senator or governor or astronaut or something).
Don't get caught up in this sort of idiocy. I'm not saying I would vote for her, but she's far from a nut.
I respect her. Ron Paul - he's a nut.

I'm not so sure. Think about this - a true conservative will have a hard time winning. So you have Mittens. He's the epitome of a RHINO. Pair him with a conservative woman and you might just win the independents AND the Tea Party types.
Not saying it's a good team for America - but politically it would work.

While I agree she wasn't going to win the nomination, why would anyone give a crap what Iowa or NH thinks?
IMHO, the REAL campaign begins in South Carolina. :yesnod:
Not trying to go all PR&C but I think the GOP will rig this crap no matter the level of difficulty to give Mitt Romney the nomination. Romney is more of the same ol crap, nothing less. I find myself leaning towards Ron Paul as I agree with more of his policy ideas, but even if Paul actually won every primary, I would bet money on Romney still getting the nomination by some "voting" miracle. I've lost faith in our system. The uber rich will continue to have us "elect" them to make laws to oppress/fleece us that they do not abide by. A government who governs least, governs best!

I really don't think he's a nut, but they've damn sure labled him that way. Hell, I don't agree with everything he says, but I would love to see us shed several layers of gov't, and let individual states handle their own programs. Yeah, and foreign aid, I'd cut it off too. I never gave them permission to send my money to anyone overseas while we borrow from the Chinese to pay our bills.

"I don't know how much God has to do to get the attention of the politicians. We've had an earthquake; we've had a hurricane. He said, 'Are you going to start listening to me here?' "I find it interesting that it was back in the 1970s that the swine flu broke out under another, then under another Democrat president, Jimmy Carter. I'm not blaming this on President Obama, I just think it's an interesting coincidence."

"But we also know that the very founders that wrote those documents worked tirelessly until slavery was no more in the United States. ... I think it is high time that we recognize the contribution of our forbearers who worked tirelessly -- men like John Quincy Adams, who would not rest until slavery was extinguished in the country."

''It is horrific to know that in the African American community, 50 percent of all African American pregnancies in the United States end in abortion, 50 percent. That is a genocide of African Americans of the United States. It should not be. There are Americans all across this country who would love to adopt African American babies, but they can't because 50 percent of all African American pregnancies today are ending in abortion.''
''Normalization (of gayness) through desensitization. Very effective way to do this with a bunch of second graders, is take a picture of 'The Lion King' for instance, and a teacher might say, 'Do you know that the music for this movie was written by a gay man?' The message is: I'm better at what I do, because I'm gay.''

That's one thing I don't get, why brutally attack each other in the primary? Just weakens the "winner" for the general election, IMHO. :yesnod:
I was thinking about that exact point yesterday while reading the paper. The incumbant must keep a bunch of people on staff whose sole job it is to take notes on all the intra-party vitriol so they can reuse it later against whomever gets the nomination.
They're doing all the mud-slinging homework for the opposition, it seems.
