I've been traveling deer crossing roads all my life and the first thing I learned after a couple of touching-close calls was when you see those deer crossing signs SLOW DOWN! Those critters are amazingly fast and can jump clear over your car if given the slightest chance.:yesnod:

My mom and step dad used to live outside of Ellicott City MD. A well to do neighborhood with 5 acre lots. None of the neighbors wanted anybody hunting deer in the area ( not even bow hunting )

Then one of the women was killed when a deer went thru her windshield and broke her neck . Then all of a sudden there were "too many deer" for the habitat.
