Had this in my inbox this morning:

"Larry,
I'm very interested in your Sybian; but need it shipped to San Jose, CA 95132.
Would you accept an offer of $700 + $60/shipping?

I can pay with PayPal or a money order or a check."

Which form of payment would you take, guys?

I bought a Sybian at a garage sale. Turns out it was new, never opened. I took my treaure home in anticipation of having...my wife tell me to get the feckin' thing outta the house! I had a thread here in case anyone wanted to buy it, but these puzzy-whipped (look who's talking!) peeps were too shy. I put it on Craigslist for $700 (they retail for $1315), and it sold overnight. Alread got the money in my PayPal account.

I have no idea what my wife would do if I brought one of those home. I'm guessing she'd be willing to give it a go just to see, but if I told her I bought it at a garage sale? All bets are off! Of course I don't go to garage sales so there's that... :D

I didn't tell her I got it at a garage sale. But I wouldn't have bought it had it been used. The "attachments" were still wrapped in the manufacturer's. shrink wrap (with manufacturer's labels) as was the unit itself. It was obvious from its condition that it was new.

From a friend...who sells them on the side. :leaving: BTW, "toy" shops rent those things for $200/night, and women can even try them out at some such shops.

Amazing isn't it - when they could rent the real thing for far less.

Yet you clearly advertised it as used. Well now, I theen you have some 'splainin' to do. If your wife didn't try it, who did?:D:leaving:

No inconsistency at all. My wife looked at it, said it was either it or her (I debated that one), so it's never been used.

Rentals sound like a heck of a business! even at a hundred a night, you could have paid it off quick. I guess it's not a lawyer type of side bizz right? And a free slash guard with every rental, haha! :seasix:

Lets just say there are certain images planted in my mind...K??

and I pissed I lost those pix of those wall mounted wheels, and me tied to them....it was funny....

the big thing is with the wheels tied to the wall, and axle almost horizontal to be able to engineer the foot rests as adjustable to center the body on the spin axis, or no go....the 'companion' most likely would not be able to make it turn....think of balancing a wheel on a 18 wheeler.....

this shit is a tad more complex than the guys were first allowing for....

and that guillotine concept of their would have probably killed someone if I had not pitched a total stone bitch for a redesign, and that took some thinking to include 5-6 backups and not have them show to any casual observer....

look up some old and new photographs, and get out your thinking caps.....

 talked to my buddy yesterday about this, we laughing our asses off about it, and he had to think, the web site was actually shut down in early 06, later than I recollected....when HE got back from the Katrina/FEMA effort....that was a 5 months excursion for him....only a week or so for me...
