I've been needing to get a new wedding band for a while and did so today. I figured since I'll be required to dress up for tomorrow night's festivities I might as well get a nice ring for this event.

I also bought my wife a matching set of diamond earings and necklace. A bit over a a grand later and we're out of the store with my deflated wallet :lol: Ehh, at least the lady selling it was willing to match a price from another jewelry store and then threw in a 10% discount on top of that.

Chapsaltuck is happy and got something nice to wear with her dress tomorrow night. Good stuff, I say.

Eh, you did ok, but not as cheep as me....

Linda wanted a silver charm bracelet, so I went priced them around from hock shops to stores....went ebay....bid 80 bux on one....got it, with shipping, looks brand new, had the S marks on it, fine....

took it around the mall, spotted some guy standing there looking at shit, in a store with similar on display and no tags showing....grrrr....

so I decide WTF? ask, so he looks close feels weight, looks at condition, I ask the obvious 'what's it worth....he says 200 bux plus, I told him I got it for 80 bux shipped......he looked surprised....

so even if I was ripped for 30 bux, so what.....
