Let me start by saying that after this weekend I have had enough Cooter to last a life time...

maybe I should explain, Ben Jones the actor who played Cooter on Dukes of Hazard was there all weekend signing autoghaphs and singing. His setlist consisted of 6 songs (4 of which were the theme song from the show) Anyway I did get pics and some stuff autoghaphed in the morning on Saturday but by 5 o'clock Sunday night the novalty wore off.

Anyway the weather was like the car show really great sometimes and not so great the other times. So without further ado' here are the pics.

Saturday night they closed the South bound lane of pacific Ave. and a makeshift car show was there for about 3 hours. Joe and I parked infront of a jazz bar. The owner came out and said the next round was on him if he could get a pic of the vette with his club in the back ground. Joe and I said sure. Moreover, the guy said he would use the pic in an upcomming add. Joe has all the pics (i can't take night shots with my POS camera) he will post later but I got this one.

In addition, some models were walking around getting professional pics taken with the cars. I was gone when they stoped by but I've been in contact with the photographer and he is sending me copies. Pictures to be posted at a later date

lastly everyone with a vette that was parked in the back corner won a trophie. I can't tell you what they won for as there were diffrent catagories but I got mine for Celebrity choice by none other then Cooter himself (probably cause I bought so much stuff LOL).

Pretty stupid that they ran everyone off the ocean front on Saturday AM all to try to make a buck by charging admission.

I got more pics to post up but prolly won't be till Thursday or Saturday...yet another day I was planning on being home from work at a normal time and didn't wind up getting here till almost 10.

The Street Dreams guys did pretty well in the trophy department.
One car was chosen by Eastern Off Road, Brian was chosen by Cooter, Lee and three others were chosen by Verizon, and I took one from the Show Saturday night on Atlantic Ave.

We also won top club participation, and the club banner award.

If I would have thought about it, RatPack could have taken 2nd in Club Participation, but I did not think about getting and filling out the paperwork.

Sunday was a partial nightmare....my folks showed up and basically raked me over the coals. My parents are show people from years ago and the shows they used to do make shows like this look like the prelims of American Idol.

They may as well have been NCCC judges when they were looking at my car :willy::willy:

Update I got one photo from the guy and model but the contrast is bad and like Lee said she is not attractive at all. The photographer said he will send better ones that have been airbrushed, croped etc. anyway heres is one I promissed and once I get the rest from Joe I'll post them up.

Sorry all, this week has been busier then I expected. I wound up having to drive up the Hopewell last night to give some ground pounder a ride home and didn't get a chance to work on the pics...in fact they are still sitting in limbo in my camera

Hopefully you don't do something dumb like go to his house this wekend. he might put you to work cleaning his appartment so he can get his deposit back.
