...today was a 14.
We had to put one of our horses down. He had a disease of the fetlock and was on the way to get way worse. In order to ease his pain, the tough decision was made.
My wife (no don't ask for pictures today, there is one in the old picture thread) has had the horse longer than she has been married to me. We shipped him here to the U.S. from Germany.
Sad day here at the farm... RIP Comanchero
:sadangel::sadangel::sadangel:
on the bright side, sounds like you took real good care of him all these years, and made him a happy horse. :hurray::hurray:
losing pets always sucks. :sadangel:

I hate that. :sadangel: I've outlived 14 horses that I owned; I have none now. One pony lived to be 34, most died in the 20-year range. Did you bury Comanchero on your property?
Awww, bummer. Sorry for y'alls loss. :sadangel:

Losing pets can be almost as traumatic as losing loved ones. Sorry for your loss. :sadangel:

My sincerest condolences. Even though he was a pet , he was a beloved member of your family. Take comfort in that you gave him a wonderful life.
He was happy and loved and he took that with him.

Sucks man. Loosing a pet and their unconditional love can be tougher than losing a person
