hi,
first of all i bought my first vette this year ,took me about a year to find the most perfect 1981 yellow in mint condition.
i had the car for 5 days when i was attacked by a hummer h1 , my pass side fender didnt fair too well
i then went out and bought an 82 to hold me over untill the 81 gets fixed
i now bought a 383 stroker motor and now realize there is alot more to the change out of my crossfire so my question is does anyone know whats involved with this 700r4 trans im being told it has a locking torqe converter and if i pull out the computer i will have to go through ( painless) and buy some kind of kit and have an trans shop install this in my trans should i go with a different trans , has anyone allready done this would apreciat any help,thanks in advance
