The Tomahawk (in pic 3) uses a Williams F107 turbofan for cruise and a solid rocket booster (which separates) for launch. Neither of those is even remotely close to what is strapped to the roof of that car... as the story would apparently like you to believe.
An F107 weighs only ~150 lbs and makes 600 lbs of thrust.
