Just found out that I got a 85% on my business law and ethics final exam. This course only had two exams the whole semester, and I did mediocre on the first one. This Final was critical that I got a 75 or higher to meet my goal of a 3.5 gpa for the semester. This insures that I will do extremely well this semester. I couldn't sleep waiting for the grade, and now can't sleep getting the grade

Good for you Marcus!
I envy you guys who can sit through classes and listen to teachers.
It's something I could never do.

Oh I forgot to say one more thing, I have a extra credit paper to turn in next week for an additional 5 pts to add to my exam, so really I get a 90%

I have A.D.D out the ass, it's not easy for me, in fact a psychologist, who diagnosed me said it will takes me more time and effort to remember something then the average person does

My "legal studies" class, which sounds like it's the same class, was one of the hardest classes I took in college. We had two grades the entire semester. The mid-term and the final. I got an "A." :)

Nice job Marcus!

Nope, I bought the instructor a hooker. Even in cheating, I put someone to work as a true businessman should. Win/win.

Congratulations. Business law was the toughest and last part of the CPA exam I got.
I am betting ethics is getting tough now. It is damn important.

I hated taking tests in classes where I had to regurgitate a bunch of memorized facts. Loved taking tests where you could work the problems out using logic and a core set of tools. One reason I could never be a lawyer or a doctor. Way too much memorization.

Law school does require a lot of memorization...but it's also logic in a peculiar sense. We're taught all our lives to find "the answer": 2 + 2 = 4, if a = 4 and b = 6, what is c, etc. Sometimes in law, you want to show that "the answer" isn't necessarily what one would expect or what we've learned it to be. That's why mathematicians and scientists have trouble with law school.

You are absolutely right. It is logic in a peculiar sense. I had a helluva time with it.

I finally got to the point of thinking it out logically in my mind then come up with an opposite answer and I finally passed the CPA exam!
