NYC Toy Run/Postcard Tour last night

Went on our annual Toy Run to benefit children/families living with HIV. A big thank you to our friend Shermon for organizing it each year! :hurray:

After collecting toys and loading them up to go to the kids, we cruise up Madison Ave to 73rd and then back downtown to take pictures of the lights and events.

We had about 25 Vettes, 2 CTS Vs, and an Escalade in the group. My wife was riding shotgun and snagged some pics.

Afterward, we stopped for dinner at the Tick Tock diner in Jersey (just after the Giants blew it)

Love the city at christmastime. Hate the crowds.

I hate the crowds as well. Can't stand shopping in bustling malls with all the noise and space invaders. :lol:

This time the crowds just made it more fun.
The LEOs were smiling and waving our pack through the lights.
The cabbies were giving us breaks so we could stay together.
Nobody minded that we would double park on Madison Ave. for a few minutes to allow the others to catch up.

One guy in the crowd yelled out, "what, do you get a free toy if you show up in a Corvette"? :lol:

Forgot I was in NY. I'm used to quite the opposite.
