California judge Friday refused Apple's request for an injunction to ban the sales of Samsung Galaxy smartphone and tablet products in the U.S., Reuters reported.

Apple and Samsung's have been doing battle in courts all over the world over Apple's claims that the Samsung products violate iPhone and iPad patents. Samsung's suit against Apple remains active despite the injunction's reaction.

LG's Nitro HD Arrives
AT&T announced the LG Nitro HD smartphone a few days back and at that time they did let us all know when the handset would be available for sale and how much it would be selling for. And for those who may have missed those details, the LG Nitro HD will be available on December 4th and it will be priced at $249.99 on a two-year agreement. As for those specs, those include 4G LTE support along with a 4.5 inch (1280 x 720) True HD AH-IPS touchscreen display, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 4GB internal storage, 16GB microSD card storage and an 8 megapixel rear facing camera with HD video recording. That all being said, the latest information coming from AT&T in regards to the LG Nitro HD includes this Mobile Minute video, of which those interested (or considering a purchase) may want to check out.

Mophie issues a product recall for the Juice Pack Air
It does not appear to be a good day for external battery/case products. We recently mentioned the recall that was issued by Best Buy for the Rocketfish case for the iPhone 3/3S and now it looks like we have one coming from Mophie. The Mophie recall is dealing with the Juice Pack Air for the 4th generation iPod touch.

“mophie has determined that in a small number of juice pack air™ units (JPAT…) for the iPod touch 4th generation may short-circuit causing the unit to potentially over heat. In extreme conditions, it is possible for the plastic to deform and damage the iPod touch. You should stop using these units immediately.”

In terms of knowing if you have one of the affected models, the recall covers the following model numbers;

2010_JPAXT4
2011_JPAXT4
2012_JPAXT4

And further details state that you could have an affected model if your serial number falls in between: TR113XXXXX-XX - TR120XXXXX-XX

That all being said, if you have (or believe you have) one of the potential problematic Mophie Juice Pack Air battery cases for the iPod touch, then follow the link at the bottom of this post to submit for a replacement. The replacement request can be done by filling out a short form on the Mophie website or by calling a toll-free number.
