Tim Tebow: 10/15 202 yards... everybody thinks he's a God.
Drew Brees: 17/22 252 yards, in the FIRST HALF... Just another day.

Drew Bree's is a great QB and a seasoned vet. Tebow is 5-1 in the first six starts of his career and has helped bring the Broncos to first place. He's still very green but I think he has a bright future :seasix:

:skep:
Drew Brees was a rookie in 2001 and has been a starter since 2002. That's 10 seasons, counting this one. Don't think he has lost an average of almost 14 games a season. Might want to check your source on that one.

But the Lions are making a comeback in the second half.

Might have been exaggerating.
Tebow may only be a minor Old Testament prophet rather than actually GOD.

Gotcha. St. Timmy?
Stats on the screen right now about Brees...
32 straight games with 20+ completions
39 straight with a TD pass.

Oh good lord...
Somebody makes an Apples vs. Oranges comparison and ya'll want to really argue it ?

Indeed he does.
He just isn't as public about his faith as Tim Tebow.
His book is excellent and is a far cry from the typical athlete's (me, me, me) book.

As a Raider fan, i can't stand that muther fukr!!! He keeps finding ways to win!!! :sadangel:
Drew Brees has lost 137 games in the NFL.
Tim Tebow has lost one.
He is GOD.
He lost two of his three starts last year.

I like the guy, but like always...the QB gets waaaay too much credit for a win.
The defense with a INT for a TD, and giving Tebow the ball already in FG range at the end helped.

I just want to know how they would have been WITH Manning. They are pretty much all around terrible. They are down a lot more than just a QB. As has been said by a whole lot of people smarter than me, Manning has been so phenominal over the last seasons that he managed to hide how bad they really were as a team.

Manning gives them probably 7-8 wins this season.

My guess would be 8-8 with him healthy.

Drew Brees, whistles and checks his fingernails before throwing an 80 yard pass for TD in the back of the endzone.
Tim Tebow, trying to find his ass with both hands before running for three yards and getting dog piled by a bunch of sweaty, eating children for breakfast defensive giants.
Yep, Tebow should occupy all of ESPN's highlight reels.

Teams he's beat:
Miami 4-8
Oakland 7-5
Kansas City 5-7
Jets 7-5
San Diego 4-7
Minnesota 2-10
Not exactly the league's finest.
The Saints better quit fiddle-farting around w/ his contract.
He hits the open market and it's lights out.

If you took all of the defensive linemen off of the field, Tebow still couldn't make a large number of the passes that Brees, Rodgers, Brady, etc make. He might develop into that someday, but right now, not a chance.
I'm not bashing the guy. He is a great leader, a great on-field presence, one of the NFL players that kids should look up to as a role model (as is Brees), and he wins games.
With that said... people acting like he is the best QB in the league is absolutely stupid.

I couldn't agree with you more. He's definitely got a very long way to go to be an effective passer in the NFL but he is finding a way to get the W's..

With Tom Benson, one never knows what crazy idea is in that head. :confused5: or

A caller to NFLRadio said that he thinks Tebow should be in the running for league MVP.

The really ridiculous part is how many others were probably listening and agreeing.
