Please keep an eye out for a Stolen Flatbed and Race Car out of NJ

The flatbed is a 2005 LCF with Navistar Turbo Diesel V-6 with a white cab. The race car is an '87 Buick Turbo T in white with black race seats and missing left rear white filler between the bumper and taillight.

This is the 4th or 5th one I've heard of in 2 months. They always steal the tow rig too.

Big demand for them from some folks and yes, lots have disappeared; particularly right after racing where these POS thieves seem to scout them.

Another good idea to disable the tow vehicle in several ways if possible. Lots of races are out of town which requires drivers to get a hotel and that's a risky place to leave both vehicle and tow vehicle/trailer.

This one has hit many of the major boards over the last few days. I hope they find his ride and rig soon. :yesnod:

Stolen I believe from the shop to boot!

After a day of test and tune at E'town with our '87 Buick Turbo T shop car chasing that elusive 9 second time slip we get in this morning and discover our flatbed along with our race car was stolen last night between 6 and 6:30 PM. Video shows two men were dropped off and cased our shop before coming back and stealing the flatbed along with the race car.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE

Car was seen Sunday 12-11-11 at approx. 4:30PM on a black open trailer being towed by a 2010 or 2011 Red Ford F-250 with an off road bumper. Both truck and trailer had Virginia plates. The slicks that were on the back of the car were taken off and replaced with regular street tires. The pair of slicks were secured to the front of the open trailer. Truck and trailer were headed east on I-64 towards Virginia Beach/ Norfolk area. Anyone with any information please call the Virginia State Police.
