My dad has taken a turn for the worse. He has developed pneumonia again. His doctors are telling us there is no chance for his recovery. Please let his friends know so they can keep him in their thoughts and prayers. I will let you know when he passes. Please thank everyone for all of their wonderful cards and letters over the past few months. I know they touched him deeply.

From there it got back into his lungs and turned into double pneumonia. Currently the doctors are trying to keep him comfortable. He is completely dependent on the ventilator and 100% oxygen. There is no question that this is the end, it is just a matter when it will come. I am asking that everyone keeps praying for him in his final hours. My sister or I willow send in word to the community when the end comes.

There are some DAMN good people in this picture, real people........and of course there are a bunch who aren't pictured. What I'm trying to say is that although we may meet and chat online, there are real people behind the keyboards. Yeah, "it's just the internet" and that's true in some cases, but sometimes it goes beyond that.............sometimes we are fortunate enough to make true friends.
