The Official Christmas Decorations Thread!

I believe today is the most popular day to put up the tree and the other Christmas decorations. I have the tree up, but that's as far as I got. If you have your decorations up post pics here!

I would but it raining like all hell still. We had three inches yesterday and another four today. I am glad we put the lights out Friday when it was nice.

I will have to post them later this week. I spent over 6 hours on the roof cleaning with chlorine and nearly 2 hours on the lawn. I was too tuckered to do xmas lights. I still had to shop and make dinner.

I will try and put the lights up Tuesday/Wednesday afternoons. :cert:

I'll be getting my tree this Friday. Got some icicle lights hung on the front of the house this weekend. I'll post up pics when things come together more :hurray:

I used to go through the whole exterior decorations thing up until a couple of years ago and then just got tired of the hassle of dragging all that crap out of the basement, putting it up, taking it down and then dragging it back down to the basement. My wife decorates the tree and puts up some interior decorations but that's her gig not mine.

Mrs. DAB has been busy since yesterday unpacking some of the 40+ boxes of Christmas decorations we stored in the garage.

decorating bathrooms, bedrooms (not my office yet), dining room, living room, kitchen.....this will continue for most of this week, a few boxes at a time, finding a home for all the stuff.

we moved last year, and due to unpacking busyness, did not decorate last year, so she's figuring out what to put where in this house.

no exterior lights, no place to hang them (due to parapets and flat roofs). so i'm off the hook...i think.

will probably get a tree in another week or 2.

Scrooge...throw some lights and tinsel on it! Don't forget to string lights on the outside of the porta potty and hang one of those little trees on the inside.
