Pic2 is the 600k upload download antenna so the camera can be controlled remotely from the yacht while the chopper is flying.

3 is the insrument panel.
5 is the most bad assed gyroscpically stabilized camera that was used to film Planet earth, without the stabilization.

Aircraft is registered in Isle of Man, Mechanic from France, Avionics expert from Brittain as well as the pilot, camera expert from New Zealand, and project lead was from USA.

I provided my technical experise on the aircraft, as welll as being a bitch and running down parts for the installation of the camera system as well as performing the final weight and balance doccuments required. I was privelaged to be able to take these pics with the camera that was available so please do not bitch about the quality as they are small but in focus (Utah eat your heart out). These are the only photos I am allowed to disclose.

The control system that allows you to control the cameras from over 100 miles away with minimal delay are proprietary and were not allowed. Please enjoy and DO NOT REDISTRIBUTE these in any form or fashion.

Yes, the operator of the camera can see what is being filmed wether or not he has primary command of the sytem. The idea was for the man who owns the yacht and paid for the system to be able to tell the pilot to fly to a certain location so he could control the system to film what he wants while relaxing in a lazy boy. The control system is proprietary, and I could not get clarification of why I was not allowed to take pics of that.

Lets just say from West Palm Beach international, I saw you picking your nose, IC's knife needs sharpening (the edges are rolling over to the left @ .25*), Joebuck has dust on his condom collection...... :D

Seriously, it is bad ass. I would estimate you could read a T-Shirt from 20 miles away given perfect weather.

Oh yes I left out, pic 3, upper left hand corner, the digital attitude indicator can be controlled by a single button push to show camera image.

The extras on this aircraft include a slide out zodiak boat system, and can't say much else. :D

In the first pic, the clear plastic piece looks like it is lower than the landing rails.

Does that pivot up out of the way? Some nice machine work in that assembly :cool1:

What you are reffering to as rails are called "skids". As I recall, it is 6.8" above the skid bottom heighth. Can't land in high growth vegetation due to risk of fire from the heat. Yes, they are nicely machined.

I knew you would chime in. The clear plastic thingy is the up-link down-link thingy by satilte with ultra low ping time. 600k worth. It allows the owner to control it from the yacht.

Who they are subscribed to for service is anyones guess.

Very cool indeed. That's what I specialize on and worked on for 5 years in the EMS industry. I've even had phone calls from the manufacturer asking me troubleshooting questions. :D
