I missed my chance last night; I should've had a Fatal Attraction cooking in the kitchen. When I got home today the little male was hiding in my workshop in a rolled up rug. I had leather gloves on, which he bit through. That's bite/scratch eleventy billion. I took him inside and convinced him that milk tastes good. I put a bowl with him in his carrier, and he drank it all.

Then I put some wet cat food in the bowl, which he ate. These are the only things he's eaten in the last day. I took him out and put him inside my coat; he offered no resistance this time. I buttoned up my coat about half way, I petted him, and he went to sleep. Then the little fecker pissed on me! :banghead:

Over the years I have had tons of cat scratches. Bites can be something different. Was bit by a stray and even though I got an antibiotic injection the same day still developed an infection. Ended up on some serious antibiotics.

Yes, I know, and I worry about that. Last night he bit my middle finger down to the bone. It's a little sore today, but no redness or swelling. Here's hoping!

Keep an eye on it.

It is very rewarding helping these little cast sways but you have to be careful.

It is easy to underestimate how much damage they can do to you if they feel like they are being threatened.

Best wishes with your kittah. And has been mentioned, milk is not good for cats. I never give my cats milk.

After shuttered in my room for 3 days, I let the kitten out. My older cat has been chasing her ever since. I've had to lock him in the basement a couple of times. Hopefully he'll get the hint.

Yes, milk isn't good for cats, but he hadn't eaten or drank anything for 36+ hours, and I thought I'd try to get some functions going. He weighs only a few ounces. He feels much better now--no diarrhea or throwing up, so hopefully he tolerated it.

I just remember that I have some kitten formula and a bottle that I used with Annie; that will eliminate a lot of concerns. I just want the little guy to be healthy and happy. :cert:
