Dear syf550,

If you have an issue with the way our products are stacked, please consult the store manager. Also, please find something more important to worry about.

Threw your complaint in the trash,
Coca-Cola Company

Pretty much. Don't blame Coke. Blame the minimum wage earning stocker.

The Coke delivery truck drivers do the stocking around here.

Both Coca-Cola and Pepsi usually send in their own merchandisers to stock the shelves in grocery stores. So, go ahead and blame Coke....

A coke can resists being crushed upright than it does from the side, so the boxes are stacked so all the cans are upright to keep the bottom cans from being crushed by the weight of the ones stacked on top of them. The "handle" hole has to be situated on the box on the side so that there is room for your hand to fit inside in the space between two cans. Therefore your request is denied! :beat:

Maybe I saw guys moving the stuff around after the "company" guys left then.

It's possible, sometimes the store clerks will stock if they are out and customers are complaining. But in case you think I am talking out of my ass, I worked for 7 years in a grocery store back in the day, so I know how some things work....

I saw on Modern Marvels that they do in fact have merchandise stockers from the company that are trained to layout the stuffs in an "appealing" manner. They have these elaborate training rooms set up at the plants or whatever. I guess stocking shelves is a big deal.

One other reason, look at how the Coke and Diet Coke are at the end of the carton. If you put the handle up it would be sideways.

I don't think you're talking out your azz at all. I did my stint as a sacker back when I was 15/16 years old. I think I have my old sacker apron packed up somewhere, and it can stay there.

I call :bs: For FTLH please show pics of you wearing said apron for proof. :popcorns:

OK, that made me LOL!!!! And thanks for reminding me that I have a killer khaki apron lurking around here somewhere...

It's a VERY big deal. Many studies have been done (and are still going on I would imagine) on where people look and how they make their decisions when shopping.

Companies can and do pay stores sometimes big $$$ for their products to be placed in the "prime" area to get customers attention. :yesnod: Look at the top and bottom shelves. Those guys didn't pay very well. :D

:iagree:

Fruit Loops and Cap't Crunch at eye level, the Malt-O-Meal shit gets the hind-titter spot down by the floor.

I figured it would be safe to mention having an apron since M3C69LADY only wants to see TxAg in his grocer's giddy-up.

What kills me is the cost of a single coke at Circle K,$1.69, dam ,you can buy a beer cheaper. And they have increased the price 3 times in 8 months.
