So I picked up some new LG Streets for my Zo6. I think I could get the job done myself in a weekend as I am somewhat mechanically inclined being an ex c-130 crew chief. But I bet if some fellow 'Vette guys were to help fueled on good beers and pizza we might get it done in one day.

The seller is just shipping today and are not due to arrive until next week which is the weekend of the Waterside show. I'm hoping for the 17-18 weekend.

Anyway if anyone has experience or is interested let me know what you think!

Do you have a lift? Getting it up in the air would make it a lot easier. I'm going to Bowling Green to the Museum and Plant the weekend of the 17th but can hand the real mechanics a wrench, beer, or slice if you tackle it when I'm in town.

Where is your place I did not see it in your profile.:chicken:

I'm sure I don't have the experience you are looking for but depending on the day I would come out and be another set of hands I would like the experience so I could do mine one day :). I will check back and see when you are going to do this and maybe someone with experience will chime in.

I'm in Hampton but my place has a single car garage as you can see below and an uneven driveway. I was hoping to maybe get some airtime on a members lift or I will have to go onto Langley and use the lifts there. Will I need pucks for a lift?

I'd say make sure you get it on a lift too if you can. I'm scared as crap getting under mine on jackstands. If you do get under it on jackstands, throw wheels, cinder blocks, a few sinks, or anyting you can get under it

I haven't replaced headers on a C5 before, but wouldn't mind giving you a hand.

Just don't ask me to read torque values :leaving:

If you do it on Langley, let me know when, if off I will give a hand. I haven't used the hobby shop in years. I think they only have drive on lifts and you may need a couple of 2" X 10" to get clearance for driving onto the lift. If they have post lift now, I have pucks.

Thanks for all the kind words, I might need to order some more parts so I will hold off on a date. Here is a great pic GreenMan took at waterside last year.
