As he heads into the home stretch on his Alien prequel, Prometheus, Scott revealed to The WSJ (http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2011/11/04/ridley-scott-says-he%e2%80%99ll-direct-%e2%80%98blade-runner%e2%80%99-sequel/) that he will be directing the oft rumored Blade Runner sequel.

Revisiting his two most iconic masterpieces, both made 30 years ago, in his 8th decade of life? Mid-Second-Half-Of-Life Crisis?

The expanded world of Mercerism, and Replicant Rights, might be pretty cool... but wouldn't seem to be all that easily adaptable to the cinema.

The cool thing about replicants is, Roy Baty may be dead... but they can just tank a new Roy and voila! Vive la Revolution!

The bad thing is... Rutger Hauer can't reprise his role :(. No ancient wrinkly Replicants allowed.

So... could Harrison, in your opinion?

Depends on whether or not Deckard is a Replicant, now doesn't it?

:D

What about this... Harrison back as Rick Deckard... and Daniel Craig as Roy Baty II.

Blade Runners and Replicants! Just add Olivia as Priss Mark II...
