Always enjoyed their air shows.

Since they were normally the last big air event (at least of the ones I wanted to see) at the shows, we always walked out to the cars just before they were wheels up.

One of my favorite parts (and I always tried to be ready for it) was when 3 or 4 of them were doing some aerobatics in the Eastern sky. 1 or 2 of the others would sneak out way North, be gone for a minute or two then come out of the West where no one was looking, usually over the cars at very low altitude just barely under 768 mph.

It would scare the crap out of everyone and all the car alarms would go off. :D

If they touch...they crash....They are close, however.

This is even crazier than the OP's video. Unfortunately, one cannot post a direct link. Go to Blue Angels: Inside the Demo (http://www.blueangels.navy.mil/inside) and select Video 10 DIAMOND 360. The 2 wingmen's wingtips get to within 2-3 feet of each other and at times come to within 2-3 feet of the bottom pilot's canopy. Looks scary close! :eek:

Since this was shot with a helmet cam I found it interesting to see how much he looks around and the places that he was looking. In the middle of some of the loops he would be just kind of looking around. It seemed unexpected, at least to me. Very cool. :hurray:

We supposed to have one today, they been practicing over our houses this week, but the sky is SO dark now at almost ten AM, that we need strike a match to see the sky....:dance::sadangel:
