Black Friday is Starting Earlier This Year
It is barely November and Thanksgiving feels like weeks away but retail giants are already buzzing about Black Friday. In order to meet their eager customers demands, many stores, notably Macy's and Target, are opening their doors at midnight on November 25.

This is four hours earlier than Target opened last year, and both stores are planning a midnight opening for the first time this year.

Macy's president at CEO, Terry Lundgren, stated that the earlier opening will give "customers the opportunity to get a head start on extraordinary Black Friday deals."

Amazon has opened its Black Friday Deals store and it will be discounting items all the way until the real Black Friday.

There are a lot of different items to choose from. It’s just like Black Friday deals at your local retailer. For example, a Creative Labs Sound Blaster Tactic 3D Alpha Gaming Headset is selling for $49.46. It’s original price Amazon price is $102.32. An Angry Birds plush toy will set you back $7.50 and a 9-inch Sony digital photo frame is being sold for $69.

Keep in mind just because an item is wrapped in Black Friday hype doesn’t mean you can’t find it cheaper elsewhere. It’s best to look at the prices Amazon has and shop around for a better price.

I found a great deal on black Friday last year on a 32 TV for $288 at COSTCO. Was worth getting up at 5 AM.

our bedrooms 42" Samsung plasma has been a great TV for the past 4 years. Though; it's like a friggen furnace; puts out way too much heat. I'd like to find a LED type backlight 42" to replace it with (they run a lot cooler).

:yesnod: We switched from a regular LCD to an LED-LCD. It made a very noticeable difference in the temp of the room.
