Hi, ya'll! I'm glad to announce I accepted a job offer Tuesday afternoon with the U.S. Census Bureau and will begin working soon (just need to get my security credentials cleared).

It's a tech writer/documentation specialist gig with good pay and bennies, too. Definitely glad to be back in the land of the working.

I want to thank everyone for your prayers, emails, and IM's during my short round (thankfully) of unemployment. Despite the discomfort and uncertainty that accompanies job loss, I experienced a peace that comes through faith through it all that belies description.

We really saw God's hand of provision at work in our lives and continue to do so. He's so awesome and worthy of praise.

There's at least one former co-worker I know who's over there now. She left this past summer.

I hear she likes it a lot. It's a huge, 80,000 square foot facility that was finished back in 2009 I think.
